About Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff

Andy Flintoff hits the ball harder than any English cricketer since Ian Botham, the man he is most frequently measured against.

A firm favourite amongst the Barmy Army, Freddie is more than capable of crashing the ball straight back over the bowler's head to long-on, as well as hitting enormous boundaries with his famous cover-drive, renowned for its sheer brute strength.

Summer 2003 saw Freddie come of age, with a remarkable run of performances in the Test Series against South Africa. Following his massive contribution to England's historic victory in the Caribbean during the following winter, Freddie has gone from strength to strength and reinforced what many suspected; that Andrew Flintoff was a match-winner with batt and ball and can provide the bulwark of the England side for the next decade.

Named as the ICC One-Day Player of the Year for 2004, Freddie scored 551 runs at a whopping average of over 78 runs an innings during the panel's adjudication period, proving beyond all doubt that he is the man to call on in a run chase.

The true test by which all England cricketers are measured comes in the summer of 2005: an Ashes series against Australia. With a famous One Day victory over the old enemy earlier in 2004 in the ICC Champions Trophy semi-final, England and their talisman, Freddie Flintoff, are counting down the days to what will be an incredible test rematch. Who would bet against England and Freddie now?

Authenticity is everything

A1 Sporting Memorabilia recognises that authenticity is of paramount importance when purchasing signed memorabilia. Every product we sell is from an organised signing session, where the authenticity of the item is guaranteed. If we are unable to arrange an organised signing session with a sporting superstar, then signed items from that individual will not be available from us. We will only ever sell original signatures to our customers - we will never sell copies, facsimiles or reproductions of original signatures.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every signed product is issued with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by our Managing Director, which guarantees that every item has been hand-signed. The certificate includes many security features to avoid duplication and protect your investment.
