The most tenacious and feared man markers of his generation, Stiles made his England debut against Scotland at Wembley in 1965 as Ramsey fine tuned his preparationS for the World Cup finals the following year. The United midfielder made an instant impression and he was to play in the eight of the next nine warm-up games.
By the time the World Cup proper arrived, he was an automatic choice in the team and his all-action performances, toothy grin and phenomenal work rate earned him thousands of fans who appreciated the platform he built for the team's more creative players.
Lifting the World Cup after beating West Germany in the final was the pinnacle of his career and the pictures of Stiles dancing with the Jules Rimet trophy after the final whistle at Wembley is one of the day's most enduring images.
Stiles won a total of 28 caps for his country. He also went on to lift the European Cup with Manchester United in 1968 and he was finally awarded the MBE in 2000 for his services to the game.

Authenticity is everything
A1 Sporting Memorabilia recognises that authenticity is of paramount importance when purchasing signed memorabilia. Every product we sell is from an organised signing session, where the authenticity of the item is guaranteed. If we are unable to arrange an organised signing session with a sporting superstar, then signed items from that individual will not be available from us. We will only ever sell original signatures to our customers - we will never sell copies, facsimiles or reproductions of original signatures.
Certificate of Authenticity
Every signed product is issued with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by our Managing Director, which guarantees that every item has been hand-signed. The certificate includes many security features to avoid duplication and protect your investment.
1. Quality of printing & paper
The printed lines and colours of the many intricate patterns on our Certificate of Authenticity are sharp, clear and free of smudges or blurred edges. The paper is high quality, textured and of a heavier weight than normal paper.
2. Integrated image
Each Certificate of Authenticity also includes either an example image of the product or a small photo of the individual signing the product.
*Images are for illustration purposes only and the product/signature location & size my differ slightly.
3. Hologram seal
A security bespoke A1 Sporting Memorabilia hologram seal that shimmers and animates when tilted is included on every Certificate of Authenticity.
4. Online verification
The name and authentication code of every item is printed onto every Certificate of Authenticity. By entering the authentication code into the A1 Sporting Memorabilia website you will be able to view more detailed images of the signed item, a detailed description and if available photos of the individual signing the item.
5. Signed by Managing Director
Every single Certificate of Authenticity is also signed by Terry Baker or Freda H. Baker - the directors of A1 Sporting Memorabilia to guarantee that the item is genuine and hand signed.
