Before you send your shirt or item in for framing, here’s what you need to know:

Our Framing Process: What to Expect

We’re committed to delivering the highest standards of craftsmanship. While we treat every item with care, please note that the nature of framing may result in minor, permanent effects to the fabric or backing. These are not considered damage and will not impact the value of your item when displayed correctly.

Key Standards

• No pins, no holes: We use only conservation-grade, low-tack safety tape to secure items.
• Acid-free materials: All mounting and backing materials are archival and conservation-safe.
• No UV protection: Our frames do not include UV-blocking perspex, so we recommend avoiding direct sunlight or strong artificial lighting.
• Authenticity preserved: We never remove or reposition stickers, shirt numbers, or official identifiers.

If you ever need to unframe your item, we suggest using a professional service to avoid potential damage.

Framing Approval & Revisions

Once your item is laid out in the frame (prior to final sealing), we will send you a photograph for approval. You will have 5 working days to confirm or request adjustments. If we do not receive a response within this time, we will assume approval and proceed with dispatch.

If something isn’t quite right, we’ll put it right — at no extra cost. No amendment fees. No delays.

Shipping & Delivery

Whether you’re based in the UK or overseas, we handle all deliveries with care and efficiency.

• Sending to A1: Your item remains your responsibility until signed for by our team. Please use a tracked and insured delivery method. Any duties payable prior to the goods reaching us at our warehouse must be covered by the customer.
• Standard return shipping: Includes £100 insurance. This can be increased to £1,000 for an additional £25.
• International shipping: Charges are calculated individually based on location and courier rates.
• Missed deliveries: If delivery is missed more than once, a redelivery charge may apply.
• Turnaround time: Typically 5–7 working days from the date we receive your item. Custom or made-to-measure frames may take longer, particularly during busy periods such as holidays.
• Upon completion of framing, your items will be shipped back to you . Any import fees or duty charges, will remain your liability.  

Delivery timeframes are estimates unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

Returns & Cancellations

We understand that circumstances can change. Here’s our approach:

•  Before framing starts: Orders can be cancelled for a full refund.
•  After framing begins: A partial refund may be issued, deducting the cost of materials and labour.
•  Warranty: Every frame comes with a one-year warranty covering defects in materials and craftsmanship (not accidental damage or general wear).
• Returns Process: Email us at [email protected] to request a return authorisation.
•  Only items in brand new, unused condition can be returned (unless deemed faulty).
•  Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is confirmed to be defective.

Submitting Your Images

If you provide digital images (e.g. for custom framing), we manage these files responsibly:

•  Stored only for the duration of order fulfilment.
•  Typically deleted 60–90 days after your order is complete.
• You are responsible for having the rights to use any content you submit.
