Alan Shearer
Alan Shearer is a true legend of English football and the undisputed all-time leading goal scorer in Premier League history. Known for his powerful presence, lethal finishing, and unmatched consistency, Shearer was the quintessential number 9 and a nightmare for defenders throughout his career.
Born in Newcastle, Shearer began his professional journey with Southampton before making his mark at Blackburn Rovers, where he scored 112 goals and famously led the club to the Premier League title in 1994–95 – their first top-flight championship in over 80 years.
In 1996, Shearer fulfilled a lifelong dream by joining Newcastle United, where he would cement his legacy as a hometown hero. Over a decade at St James’ Park, he became the Magpies’ all-time leading goal scorer, earning legendary status among the Toon Army.
