Sir Geoff Hurst secured his place in football history at Wembley on 30 July 1966, when England defeated West Germany 4-2 after extra time to win the FIFA World Cup for the first and only time. Hurst scored three of England's four goals in the final, producing one of the most famous individual performances in the history of the tournament.

Wearing the famous Number 10 shirt, Hurst opened his account with a first-half header before scoring twice during extra time to complete his historic hat-trick.
